Omega Watches

SPIRIT & HISTORY

Our pioneering spirit has taken us to the Moon, helped us conquer the oceans’ depths, and allowed us to time the world’s most important sporting events. At the same time, we were setting precision records and have been continuously re-defining state-of-the-art mechanical watchmaking since 1848.

SPORTING SPIRIT

Sports timekeeping has been a part of the Omega story for more than a century. We are happy to be at the service of the men and women who generate so much excitement through their consistent determination to be the best at what they do. Their results deserve to be flawlessly timed, boldly displayed, and recorded for future generations. Omega has been responsible for the timekeeping of the world’s most prestigious sporting events, including 24 Olympic Games, and also for the development of the equipment which has ensured that the technology has kept pace with ever-better performances.

PIONEERING SPIRIT

OMEGA is defined by its pioneering spirit. The brand has participated actively in some of the most challenging, fascinating adventures in human history: the conquest of space, including all six lunar landings; the first divers’ watch in 1932 (we’ve been creating state-of-the-industry timepieces for underwater use ever since); more precision records than any other watch brand; world-class sports timekeeping, including 24 Olympic Games; an airplane designed to fly around the Earth powered only by the sun.

HISTORY

OMEGA has always been driven by its pioneering spirit: six lunar landings; the first divers’ watch; the world’s only certified marine chronometer wristwatch. No watch company in the world holds more records for accuracy. OMEGA is also a world leader in sports timekeeping. We are proud of this legacy and of the commitment to innovation which led to the launch of the exclusive OMEGA Co-Axial calibres. These achievements are products of the drive and spirit which have made OMEGA one of the world’s leading watchmakers.

THE ART OF WATCHMAKING

OMEGA has continually made significant contributions to the art of watchmaking since its founding in 1848. These include the calibre “Omega” introduced in 1894 and the “Marine” created in 1932. They range from the launch of the Speedmaster in 1957 to the Co-Axial calibres which took the horological industry by storm half a century later. While OMEGA has distinguished itself in a number of different professional areas, the brand has always remained true to the core identity it established more than 160 years ago: innovative watchmaker.
